An Arab at the airport

- Name?
- Abdul al-Rhazib.
- Sex?
- Three to five times a week.
- No, no. I mean male or female?
- Male, female, sometimes camel.
- Holy cow!
- Yes, cow, sheep, animals in general.
- But isn't that hostile?
- Horse style, doggy style, any style!
- Oh dear!
- No, no! Deer run too fast for me.

I Have Yet One Desire

I have yet one desire:
In the quiet of the night,
Allow me to expire
Within the sea's sight,
To have a peaceful sleep
With the forest near,
Above, a sky so clear
Over calm waters deep.
I want no funeral rite,
I want no coffin rich,
A bed for me just stitch,
With branches young bind tight.

And let noone bemoan,
Shed tears on my behalf,
Let autumn stir alone
The withered leaves, its chaff.
While the brook loudly streams,
Flows on incessantly,
May the moon glide gently
Through high tops of evergreens.
May the bell's echo sow
Through the cold wind of the night,
Let above me, from its height,
The holy light shed its bough.

As I will from then be
A wanderer no more,
Memories, tenderly,
Will cover me with yore.

Morning stars that ascend
From midst evergreen's hue
Will smile at me anew,
As each remains my friend,
The sea will refrain crude,
Moan with ardor robust,
But I will then be dust,
In peaceful solitude.
